This publication is derived from my dissertation in Musicology and musical heritage which was completed in Venice at the University “Cà Foscari” in 2006. It is a critical edition of the complete works of Luca Marenzio that are contained in volumes IV and V of the Foà fund, which is property of the National Library of Turin.
